Salmon with Brown Sugar Glaze

I made this a couple nights ago, and it was amazing!  It only took about 20 minutes to make.  Would pair great with creamy spinach and rice.  I don’t usually like to cook Salmon because it can have a fishy taste, but this recipe doesn’t at all!  I will cook this again.  Make extra and use them as meal preps.

  • 4 Salmon (I got mine without the skin)
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • salt and pepper

Preheat oven 400 degrees.  Mix brown sugar, dijon mustard, and soy sauce in a dish.  Salt and pepper both sides of salmon. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook salmon for 2 minutes per side.  Coat salmon with mixture on both sides.  Place in a glass baking dish and cook for about 15 minutes.

If you like your salmon a little more rare, you can cook for about 5-7 minutes.  White wine would also pair very well.  Enjoy!  This would be a great idea for a home cooked Valentine’s Day meal.
