Every month I’m going to show you what I received in my Birchbox. Here’s what my March box includes with my review! Keep in mind that my entire sample box was $10. I might upgrade to the $20 monthly box soon.
Curly Hair Solutions: This styling lotion helps keep curls shiny, defined, and frizz-free. I have wavy hair naturally, but it just basically keeps my hair from becoming frizzy. If you have nice curls, I think it would do a great job of keeping them pretty and shiny. Comb through wet hair from roots to ends.
Gilchrist & Soames: London Collection Body Lotion. It’s a fast-absorbing hydrating lotion that leaves skin silky-smooth. It has a light, earthy scent. This is great if you have flaky skin, especially elbows or knees. I like this lotion because it does hydrate my skin quickly. The bottle kinda reminds me of hotel branding and after reading other reviews on Amazon, it can be found in London hotels 🙂 Four star rating on Amazon. Full-size $16.
Jurlique: Herbal Recover Night Cream. This overnight hydrator restores and firms skin with antioxidants. Apply to face and neck before bed after you have washed your face. This is great because it doesn’t make your skin feel sticky or greasy. Not a fan of the scent, but it only lasts a couple minutes. Almost 5 star rating on Amazon. Full-size is $46 and one reviewer said that last them 4-6 months.
They also included a sample of Jurlique Herbal Recovery Eye Cream. This smooths and depuffs eyes, while helping with dark circles. You can use a pea-sized amount under the eye morning and night. Full-size $33.
TheBalm: How ‘Bout Them Apples? Cheeck & Lip Cream. This is a creamy stain with a hint of shimmer. Apply to cheeks or lips and blend. I am not a huge fan of this. I think it would be great if I got a different color than red. It was just not a good color on my complexion, but they do offer other colors. All colors come in the full-size $32. TheBalm also offers eyeshadow palettes and blush, which have gotten excellent reviews on Amazon. Check out other products from TheBalm.
Check back next month for my April Birchbox products and reviews 🙂
